If you need help with anything that is making it more difficult for you to learn, look for a sign outside a teacher's classroom that says "STARS Core Team Member" or ask where the STARS office is at your school. STARS Specialists provide everything from a listening ear to a referral to a place that can provide you the help you need. They also provide the following activities:
- Small support group sessions
- Individual counseling sessions
- Parent Education classes
- Referrals to outside service providers
- Volunteer projects
- Cross age mentoring
- Student leadership opportunities
